Alex Bertram

Alex Bertram is Investment and Trade Director for Energy Transition and Critical Minerals for Invest and Trade Western Australia Americas Hub. With over 17 years in the energy and resources sector, including 14 at the world's largest global diversified miner BHP, experience as an industry advisor at Microsoft, and most recently decarbonizing the worlds mines with First Mode, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge in product development for heavy industry, with a focus on industrial decarbonization. In his role with the Government of Western Australia, Alex is a passionate advocate for emerging technologies that enhance sustainability and safety in the energy and resources sectors.
